Meet the destination
Take on one of Bolivia's most iconic summits—a serious high-altitude ascent framed by the glaciers and ridgelines of the Cordillera Real.

Rising close to La Paz, Huayna Potosí is often described as an accessible 6,000-metre peak, but the mountain remains a demanding high-altitude climb. The normal route leads from base camp to the glacier and onward towards a summit panorama across the Cordillera Real.
Choose a concentrated two-day ascent or allow three days for skills practice and a more gradual approach. Both options are led as genuine mountain expeditions, with the equipment and preparation the environment requires.
