Itinerary

Day 1: Rurrenabaque - Ecolodge

At 9:00 a.m., depart from Rurrenabaque by car and head to the Municipal Reserve of the Yacuma River. After a 3 1/2-hour journey, arrive at the ecolodge on the Yacuma River. After lunch, relax in a hammock. In the afternoon, take a boat trip with opportunities to observe abundant wildlife such as caimans, alligators, monkeys, capybaras, anacondas, and various bird species. Many of these animals can be easily seen from the boat.

Day 2: Swimming Next to the Pink Dolphin

In the morning, explore the wetlands on foot in search of anacondas and alligators. Return to the lodge for lunch and some time to rest. In the afternoon, during the rainy season, there is a chance to swim with pink river dolphins, but this is not possible during the dry season. After dinner, join a boat excursion along the riverbank to spot caimans and other nocturnal wildlife.

Day 3: Ecolodge - Rurrenabaque

In the morning, take a boat to a location where you can observe squirrel monkeys. After lunch, return to Rurrenabaque and arrive around 5:00 p.m.
