Our adventure begins at Titicaca Lake, the largest freshwater lake in South America, nestled between Peru and Bolivia. You will be captivated by the serene beauty of the lake and the majestic views of the surrounding Andes mountains.
In Copacabana, explore the charming town and its impressive cathedral, known for the famous Virgin of Copacabana.
Next, we will take you to Sun Island, a place of myth and legend, where you will visit the ancient Inca ruins of Pilkokaina and Yumani, and the mystical Fountain of Youth.

Itinerary
Day 1: La Paz - Copacabana
Embark from La Paz and head northwest across the Altiplano, with stunning views of the Royal Andean Range and Titicaca Lake along the way. After a four-hour journey, arrive at your hotel in Copacabana. Following lunch, visit the impressive cathedral, with whitewashed stone walls, multiple domes covered in deep blue tiles, and a gold altarpiece embellished with silver leaves from the Potosi mines. Later, ascend Calvary Hill for a breathtaking sunset before returning to the hotel.
Day 2: Copacabana - Sun Island (north and south side)
After breakfast at 8:00 a.m., take a motorboat to the north side of Sun Island. Explore archaeological ruins such as the Chinkana Labyrinth, Sacred Rock, and the huellas del Inca (traces of the Incas). Then begin the hike toward the south side of Sun Island, enjoying breathtaking views of the Cordillera Real de Los Andes and Lake Titicaca along the way. Upon arrival, head to your hotel for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy the beautiful sunset over Sun Island.
Day 3: Sun Island - Moon Island - Copacabana - La Paz or Puno
After sunrise and breakfast, walk along the stone steps of Yumani and visit the archaeological remains of the Temple of Pilkokaina. Then board a motorboat to Moon Island and appreciate its archaeological wonders. Return to Copacabana and continue your journey to either La Paz or Puno.
