Itinerary
Day 1: La Paz-Copacabana-La Paz
We'll pick you up from your hotel at 07:30 using private transportation. The journey across the altiplano to Lake Titicaca takes approximately 4 hours. After crossing it at the Tiquina strait, we'll continue along the road, providing breathtaking views of the lake and the Andes mountain range until we reach the town of Copacabana. In Copacabana, we'll explore its impressive church, home to the famous Virgin of Copacabana. Lunch features locally sourced fish. In the afternoon, we'll take a boat to the south side of the Sun Island, where we'll visit the ruins of Pilcocaina and Yumani, including a stop at 'the Fountain of Youth.' Later in the day, we'll return to Copacabana by boat and ultimately arrive back in La Paz.
